About Omarino Wine Park
Omarino Estate sits in Harewood, about 10 minutes from the Christchurch city centre, on five acres of mature country gardens beyond a vineyard. Couples can marry in the main garden and lawn, which offers two to three ceremony spots among mature trees, shrubs and roses.
The modern barn venue holds up to 200 guests for the reception and has a fully licensed bar, so guests cannot bring their own drinks. The main space is filled with natural light, and a vintage cart, a love seat and a hedge of apple trees add rustic touches.
Platters, canapes and grazing tables are served with drinks, and decor hire is available. The estate hosts one event at a time, giving couples exclusive use of the grounds.
