What we publish
We list businesses using publicly available business information: name, phone, website, hours, ratings and the area they serve. For home-based sole traders we show the suburb or service area, not the street address.
What we collect from you
When you use the claim or contact form, we receive the details you enter, by email, so we can reply and update your listing. We use them only for that. We do not sell them. This site does not use advertising trackers.
Who else handles it
Our website host and form provider store data on our behalf, and may store it outside New Zealand.
Your rights
If you send an enquiry through a venue page, we use your name, contact details, date, guest number and message only to pass your enquiry to that venue. We do not sell it or use it for marketing. Your shortlist is stored only in your own browser.
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to remove your listing. Email [email protected]. We reply within 20 working days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
